2024 Summer Camps
We have full day (9am-4pm) and half day (9am-1pm) options for our camps this year. All camps will include movement, singing, instrument play, and outdoor activities. Each student will be asked to bring their own snack and lunch.
All new students at Songs with Sarah will pay a $25 registration fee. There is a $50 cancellation fee for all camps up until June 3rd, 2024. After June 3rd, we will refund 50% of the camp tuition to those who can no longer make it.
When registering for full day camps, make sure to select full day.
Forest Folk Tunes Camp
Ages 5-8
June 17th-21st

Optional Half Day: 9am-1pm
This camp is designed for students who want to explore songs and games related to nature’s most cuddly counterparts - animals! Join us for music making as we explore instruments, sing together, and take daily adventures outdoors, where we will use inspiration from the natural sounds we hear to make our own musical compositions! Each day will feature a different animal and songs that fit with their forest theme.

Musical Storytelling Camp
Ages 8-12
June 24th-28th
9am-4pm
Optional Half Day: 9am-1pm
Campers will delve into music in media, improvise using different classroom and rhythm instruments, and create their own music and skits. Instrumentalists of all levels and abilities are welcome. If you aren’t a musician, but love to act, this is the camp for you!

Taste of Everything Minis
Ages 5-8
July 8th-12th
9am-4pm
Optional Half Day: 9am-1pm
This is for the kiddo that wants to do all the things! Interested in piano but not sure your musicians are ready? Thinking about ukulele? Maybe djembe? Violin? Have a budding singer? We are offering this option for campers who want to explore different instruments! We will have a visiting teacher join each day to demonstrate their instrument and we will study varying orchestral pieces as we go. In between all of that, we will move, dance, sing and have fun!

Wizarding World Camp
Ages 8-12

Optional Half Day: 9am-1pm
Calling all musical witches and wizards! Join your professors as they guide you through the wonderful world of wizardry and dive into the magical world of Hogwarts. Students will be sorted into musical houses, create musical spells and potions, follow a musical marauder’s map and more! This camp may have some spoilers, so seasoned and avid readers of the books will be more charmed, we’re sure. However, we don’t expect an “Exceeds” on your O.W.L to join us; just having read or watched through movie four is our prerequisite!
Note to second and third year returning students: We will have new mischief and some old mayhem, so come back and join us if you dare!

Musical Storybook Camp
Ages 5-8

Back by popular demand with NEW books!
Bookworms unite for a camp inspired by a love of reading and music! Campers will have story time each day, go on a “little library” scavenger hunt, make music on different instruments to create storybook soundtracks, and more! All levels of readers are welcome.

String Along Camp
Prerequisite: 1 year experience in either violin, viola, or cello
July 22nd-26th
1pm-4pm
Calling all string players! Students will learn and develop their chamber music skills with coaching, mini-performances, guided listening activities, and more! Instrumentalists will work with their group mates and coach to prepare a short piece, culminating in a final performance at the end of the week.
Your camp counselor, Hannah, has a passion for chamber music and is excited to extend this opportunity to any string player that has had at least 1 year on violin, viola, or cello.

This is similar to our popular “Taste of Everything Minis”, only geared towards our older students! Interested in piano? Thinking about ukulele? Maybe drums? Violin? Flute? Have a budding singer? We are offering this option for campers who want to explore different instruments! We will have a visiting teacher join each day to demonstrate their instrument and we will study orchestral pieces that feature different instruments. In between all of that, we will move, dance, sing and have fun!

Comical Composers Camp
Ages 8-12

Optional Half Day: 9am-1pm
Come join us in a camp where tacos rain from the sky, unicorns sore through space and cute creatures nom-nom-nom on all our music. That's right, we're going to dive deep on some of your children's favorite songs... and even write some silly ones of our own! This camp is especially geared towards students with 2+ years of piano, but singers and lyricists are also welcome!

Musical Explorers Camp
Ages 4-6
August 12th-16th
9am-1pm
This is similar to our popular “Taste of Everything Minis”, only geared towards our youngest students! We are offering this option for campers who want to explore different instruments and see what’s out there! There will be an instrument putting zoo and demonstrations throughout the week. In between all of that, we will move, dance, sing and have fun!
