Generation Pound® Class with Teacher Mike

Generation POUND® was created not just as a workout geared towards kids, but a MOVEMENT that aims to change the concept of health and fitness for today’s youth. The program fuses movement and music to improve focus, coordination, physical fitness and teamwork skills for “Rockstars in Training,” ages 6-12. Instructors use Ripstix®–POUND’s lightly weighted exercise drumsticks–to learn alternative ways to explore movement. The power of Generation POUND encompasses more than just physical fitness. Combining kid-friendly choreography and group activities, it promotes social and emotional well-being by fostering relationships, building self-esteem and self-awareness, and inspiring the next generation of happy, healthy kids.

2023 Winter Practice Q&A

Attention parents!

We are hosting a Practicing Q&A on Sunday, January 22nd at 3:00pm. This will take place on Zoom to make it convenient for everyone. Sarah will be leading this along with some of our Music Moves for Piano teachers, and we will open the floor to parents that have questions about how to practice at home with their own children. We’ll also offer up some trade secrets that we’ve learned from being both a teacher in the music classroom and a parent at home.

Join us for an informal discussion where the goal is to help YOU help your child at home.

Please RSVP here: https://forms.gle/7JGm3sdKANvqWkUQA

Edie Carey: The Veil Album Release Concert

An intimate concert series jointly hosted by The Warming House and Songs with Sarah- with very special musical guests Brianna Lane and Jess Yoakum.

Colorado-based singer-songwriter Edie Carey is known for her unmistakable, soulful voice, her intelligent, heart-grabbing songs, but perhaps most especially for her warm, engaging presence on – and off – stage. As much a part of her show as the music itself, Carey’s wry and often self-mocking humor makes audiences feel as though they have just spent an evening with a very close friend. “Bare of self-pity and full of down-to-earth revelation... a little country, a little adult-contemporary, and a lot of fine music.” - Harp Magazine
