Music Play

Laura has been singing and making music since she was a child, exploring everything from piano and flute to choral singing and Ghanaian drumming and singing in college. She’s already been a joyful part of the Songs with Sarah community for over eight years, singing and playing alongside her two children in their own Music Play classes. Xavier is now 8, and Violet is 5. Now that they have outgrown Music Play classes Laura is so excited to keep on singing and playing with all of you!

Laura is a member of Prairie Fire Choir, an a capella, Twin-Cities-based and member-run choir. In this choir members work together to lead rehearsals, arrange music, serve on the board of directors, and lead committees to make it all happen - and Laura has helped in all of these roles and more.

Laura brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep love of music to every class. She believes music is for everyone and loves creating spaces where families can connect, express, and grow together.
